Annual Sustainability Report

2024 Annual Sustainability Report

The 2024 Annual Sustainability Report reflects the City and community’s performance in meeting our established sustainability, climate change, and resilience objectives and targets in 2023.

The Resilience Office produces this annual report in fulfillment of City Charter, ordinance, and community expectations to ensure transparency in our efforts towards a more equitable and resilient Oʻahu.

The Report is displayed in an interactive dashboard format, allowing users to filter, analyze and engage with data in greater detail. This year, the dashboard includes new datasets on food security, commercial building benchmarking, and transportation affordability.

“Yes, our climate goals are ambitious, but they are also necessary to bring about the healthier, more resilient O‘ahu that community has called for. Sustainability and resiliency cannot be achieved without assessing where were are now, learning from it, and either accelerating progress or course correcting as needed. This annual report helps us turn today’s data into future action to achieve our goals.”
